A new pizzeria with a new brand

A new democratic project by Mezcla. ORNO pays tribute to the classic Neapolitan pizza, reinterpreting it through Argentine history and local ingredients.

The restaurant concept needed an identity which would represent the key values of ORNO with a down to earth yet considered attitude.

Using the pizza oven as the starting point, I’ve designed a flexible identity which combines ORNO’s brand with the location’s characteristics in a revised coat of arms.

Based on the pizza oven, the dynamic identity adapts to suit each of the pizzeria's Argentinian locations, showing each outlet's features in a coat of arms.

Inspired by its architecture, the identity and the typography highlights the geometry of primary shapes together with a fiery red.

The website follows the brands' look and feel. A simple one page design, smooth interactions and typographic opentype features.

The architecture of ORNO proposes a new setting for the fast-food experience. Based on a sharing concept, the oven is at the centre of the stage, and all interior takes inspiration from it's basic geometry. As part of the identity I ideated and produced all collateral in the space, from exterior signage to stickers.
